In "Springerville," a town in South Carolina faces a dramatic upheaval as wealthy professionals from northern states flock in, transforming the community and bringing unintended consequences like crime and corruption. Hubristic, a media mogul from New York runs for mayor, threatening to reshape Springerville into an urban sprawl. Local hero Gus Fuller, a former army sergeant, decides to defend his hometown by challenging the mogul, only to be met with false accusations and escalating violence.
