Stranger in Paradise

In "Stone's Throw," Jesse Stone, the police chief of Paradise, Massachusetts, faces an unexpected visit from notorious hitman Wilson "Crow" Cromartie, who returns after a decade. Crow is seeking Jesse's help in locating a young girl, Amber Francisco, but complications arise when Amber becomes entangled with a gang and Crow receives orders that challenge his moral code.
