Hush Money

When Robin Nevins is rejected from an exclusive university, Spenser takes it upon himself to investigate the circumstances surrounding her denial, which appears linked to the suicide of a young gay activist. His inquiry plunges him into a complex web of multicultural politics, involving issues of race, sexuality, academia, and feminism. At the same time, Spenser's girlfriend, Susan, requests his help with an old college friend who is facing a stalker.
