In the tumultuous year of 1066, a mysterious man on a non-warhorse arrives at King Harald’s camp without armor or identifiable colors, sparking both curiosity and wariness among the warriors. He boldly addresses the king and Earl Tostig, seeking a parley to negotiate the land of Umbria for Tostig, offering a royal title in exchange for peace. As tensions rise, the enigmatic rider, revealed to be Harold, faces rejection and cursing from the men he sought to persuade, ultimately leaving the camp to ponder his next move.
