Scott Anderson is an American novelist, nonfiction author, journalist, and veteran war correspondent. He has reported from conflict zones across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Central America, while contributing to publications including The New York Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, Esquire, Harper’s, and Outside. His books combine narrative history, investigative journalism, and literary storytelling, including Lawrence in Arabia, Fractured Lands, The Quiet Americans, and King of Kings, as well as the novels Triage and Moonlight Hotel.
