Signal for Vengeance

In 1860 Wimborne, Dorset, Rebecca Tullidge finds herself in a precarious situation when she discovers the lifeless body of her lover, railway officer John Bedloe, on the tracks. As the town gears up for a mayoral election, Mr. Feltham enlists Inspector Colbeck and Sergeant Lemming to unravel the mystery of Bedloe's murder, revealing a number of suspects tied to his troubled past. With the investigation proving more complex than expected, Colbeck must race against time, juggling his professional duties and personal responsibilities at home.
