The Body on the Beach

Recently retired Carole Seddon enjoys a quiet life in her Fethering cottage with her dog, Gulliver, until their daily walk unveils a suspicious corpse on the beach, complete with two neck wounds. When the body mysteriously vanishes and police dismiss her concerns, Carole questions her sanity—until a stranger threatens her silence. Fueled by anxiety and with the encouragement of her eccentric neighbor Jude, Carole decides that if the authorities won't investigate, they might take matters into their own hands.
