Beyond the Outposts

Set against the backdrop of pre-Civil War Virginia and the expansive prairies of the West, this epic tale follows young Lew Dorset on his quest to find his father. Utilizing his marksmanship, Lew secures a position as a hunter for a trader and, alongside his friend Chuck Morris, faces a Cheyenne attack. Their journey leads them to a Sioux village, where they embrace the culture and form deep bonds, including Lew's brotherhood with Sitting Wolf. However, as tensions rise and relationships become strained, Lew finds himself entangled in a perilous conflict that threatens his life.
