As World War II nears its end, two young people, Harri Pfeiffer and Yvo Scholz, confront the harrowing realities of life in a forced labor camp in Chelyabinsk, where survival is fraught with peril. Harri fights daily amid despair, while Yvo arrives in search of her missing brother and struggles to build a new life, uncertain of her family's fate.
