Kings and Pawns

In this gripping tale, Thorgrim Night Wolf and his Viking crew take refuge in the priory of Christchurch after a successful raid on the southern coast of Engla-land. However, peace is fleeting as Thorgrim receives ominous visions of encroaching enemy forces and learns that both local leaders, Nothwulf and Cynewise, are scheming to use the raiders in their power struggle. As tensions rise, Thorgrim and his men must navigate the dangers posed not only by the gods but also by the turbulent politics of the land they have invaded.
