The Last Rose of Shanghai

Set against the backdrop of Japanese-occupied Shanghai in 1940, The Last Rose of Shanghai follows Aiyi Shao, a young heiress and nightclub owner, and Ernest Reismann, a penniless Jewish refugee from Germany.
