In the aftermath of the Leviathan's defeat, Japan lies in devastation, with ruinous landscapes and monstrous threats looming over the survivors. Ivan Susanin embarks on a daring expedition to the submerged Toyo, aiming to rescue civilians and combat these beasts while navigating national interests and personal ambitions. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a card granting him the chance to become the Overlord of the Dungeon, a realm inhabited by scheming goblins, where sheer strength alone may not ensure his success.
