In upstate New York, Virgil Cain’s life takes an unexpected turn when he agrees to let film scouts use his draft horses for their movie, Frontier Woman, offering him $500 a day. As the production spirals into chaos, he quickly realizes that producer Sam Jonson’s personal struggles and the interests of a local casino owner complicate matters further.
