Shiloh

Eleven-year-old Marty Preston cherishes his time in the hills near his home in Friendly, West Virginia, but his life takes a turn when he encounters a young beagle on the road. Believing the dog is being mistreated, Marty feels compelled to help when the dog, whom he names Shiloh, takes refuge at his house. Torn between his family's wishes and his desire to rescue Shiloh from his abusive owner, Marty makes a secret vow to protect the dog at all costs.
