I is Another

"I is Another" explores the intertwined lives of two men named Asle on the west coast of Norway as they reflect on identity and existence. One Asle, an aging painter and widower, looks back on his life, supported by his neighbor Åsleik, a traditional fisherman-farmer, and his friend Beyer, a gallerist. Meanwhile, the other Asle, also a painter, resides in Bjørgvin, creating a dialogue about the nature of self and the divergent paths of life. This thought-provoking narrative raises questions about what defines us and the choices we make.
