A Legend of the Future

A Legend of the Future, translated into English by Nick Caistor, is a compelling science fiction novel by Agustín de Rojas, the patron saint of Cuban science fiction. Set aboard a spaceship on a mission to Titan, one of Saturn's moons, the story explores the intense psychological and ideological pressures of life in Communist Cuba, as crewmembers confront their deepest fears during a critical malfunction that jeopardizes their return to Earth amidst geopolitical turmoil. This riveting parable resonates with themes akin to those found in Arthur C. Clarke's works.
