In "The Blue Between Sky and Water," set in 1947 Palestine, the Baraka family navigates the turmoil surrounding their village as Israeli forces approach, ultimately forcing them to flee to Gaza. The narrative shifts sixty years later to Mamdouh’s granddaughter, Nur, who, after falling for a married doctor, journeys to Gaza and meets Alwan, whose son Khaled is trapped in a deep coma.
