Susan Abulhawa is a Palestinian-American novelist, poet, and essayist whose writing centers Palestinian history, displacement, identity, love, and resilience. Her debut novel, Mornings in Jenin, was published in 2010, translated into more than 30 languages, and followed by The Blue Between Sky and Water and Against the Loveless World. She has also published the poetry collection My Voice Sought the Wind and edited literary anthologies and short-story collections.
