In the aftermath of humanity's battle against the Lankies, Earth's forces have forced the alien invaders out of the solar system, yet the conflict is far from over for CDC officer Andrew Grayson. As troops struggle to combat the persistent threat from the Lankies on Mars, Andrew and his wife Halley grapple with the heavy burden of leadership and the lives under their command.
