Six Memos for the Next Millennium

In "Six Memos for the Next Millennium," Italo Calvino presents five completed lectures that articulate his vision for the future of literature, highlighting essential qualities he cherished in writing. Each memo focuses on a distinct concept—lightness, quickness, exactitude, visibility, and multiplicity—illustrated with references from a rich tapestry of mythology, folklore, and global literary works. This audiobook serves as both a passionate defense of literature and a unique guide to Calvino's own literary contributions.
