In 1930s New York, renowned illusionist and mentalist Art Hardwicke, known as Supermind, navigates the cabaret scene while fighting crime with the help of his manager, Lady Daphne Witcombe, and manservant Frampton. When he rescues society heiress Anastasia Del Ray from kidnappers, she pledges to make a movie about his life, casting herself as the lead. Meanwhile, sinister Professor Fenella Vaytell plots to control the minds of the nation for her Nazi patrons, putting Supermind and his allies in grave danger.
