As Malcolm Fawkes and Ella Bloom grapple with the fierce weather and a multitude of suspects, they uncover a tangled web of rival researchers and locals with motives to silence the scientist. Amidst the chaos, Ella wrestles with her mysterious powers while Malcolm seeks a crucial memory, all while facing pressure from Agent Cage of the Department of Defense, who threatens to shut down Gloamington. Together, they must race against time to uncover the truth behind the cryptozoologist's death and save their town.
