Stealing the Countess

Rushmore McKenzie, an unlicensed private investigator and former police officer, takes on an unusual case that leads him to search for a stolen Stradivarius violin valued at four million dollars. The violin, known as the Countess Borromeo, disappeared from a B&B in Bayfield, Wisconsin, and its desperate owner, violinist Paul Duclos, is willing to pay out of pocket for its return.
