Rushmore McKenzie, a millionaire and unlicensed private investigator with a background in law enforcement, is called upon by the ATF to help track down a cache of illegal guns near the Canadian border. Tasked with infiltrating a small-time gang of armed robbers, McKenzie faces a risky identity transformation and a deceptive escape plan that takes unexpected turns.
