Lost Kin

In postwar Munich, 1946, American captain Harry Kaspar investigates a confession from Cossack refugee Irina, who claims to have killed a GI. His search for the truth leads him to his estranged German brother, Max, who is entangled in a morally ambiguous mission to rescue Irina's beleaguered clan from Soviet death squads. As winter sets in and tensions mount with the approaching Cold War, Harry and Max must navigate a web of secrets and betrayal while contending with suspicious allies. Their desperate plan for rescue unfolds against the backdrop of a city grappling with the aftermath of war and shifting loyalties.
