Berlin detective Jan Tommen wakes up to find himself charged with the murder of a prominent judge, with evidence linking him to the crime scene and troubling gaps in his memory complicating his alibi. Fleeing from police custody, he seeks refuge with an old friend in the underworld, where he assembles a team of misfits to help clear his name. As they delve into the case, they uncover connections to a sinister trafficking ring while evading a citywide manhunt.
