Mirage

In a perilous desert setting, ocean-dwelling Kampii Aluna and Hoku face a daunting challenge as Aluna's transformation begins with the growth of her tail. With the villainous Karl Strand threatening to conquer the Above World and enslave the horselike Equians, the duo teams up with their allies—winged Calli and Equian exile Dash—to race to the city of Mirage. Their mission is to warn the Equians and build an alliance before the deadly Thunder Trials, where failure could mean war and doom for their world. As tensions rise, they must find a way to triumph in the Trials to prevent Strand's dark ambitions from coming to fruition.
