In a vibrant Maryland town, Libby Beckett's yarn shop, Y.A.R.N., is thriving as the community prepares for a food festival designed to attract tourists. As excitement builds with a special dyeing workshop led by artisan Julie Wilson, tension mounts between Julie and her celebrity chef sister amidst protests against Julie's antiwool stance. However, the festival takes a dark turn when Julie is found dead the night before the event, leaving Libby to unravel the mystery and catch the crafty killer behind the shocking crime.
