Sofia Valdez, Future Prez

When Abuelo can no longer walk Sofia to school due to an injured ankle, she begins to miss their daily routine and feels the weight of the hazardous Mount Trashmore nearby. Inspired to make a difference, Sofia dreams of transforming the landfill into a park, but faces discouragement when told at City Hall that her age makes her voice insignificant. Undeterred, she sets out on a mission to prove that one determined child can create meaningful change in her community.
