Seven years after the devastating fire at Hope House, Steve and Melody Samson struggle with their new reality—Steve retreats into isolation while Melody battles guilt, haunted by reminders of their past. Oakwell, once a quiet town, has transformed into a tourist destination for paranormal enthusiasts drawn to the infamous "Hope House Haunting." Town councilor Henry Marshall sees an opportunity in this newfound attention and plans to build a hotel at the haunting site, awakening dark forces within the nearby forest that threaten to pull the Samsons back into the turmoil they hoped to escape.
