Hilldiggers

In a war-ravaged solar system, a cosmic superstring is discovered and cut, resulting in four cylindrical pieces filled with mysterious life or alien technology. These artifacts are secured in a space station, where a female research scientist unexpectedly gives birth to quadruplets before tragically taking her own life. As the war unfolds, one planet is devastated by enormous spaceships known as hilldiggers, while the now-grown quads begin to rise to power in the transformed society. The fate of the quads and the hilldiggers intertwines, setting the stage for a gripping future.
