Once a beloved superheroine in a demon-infested San Francisco, Aveda Jupiter, also known as Annie Chang, faces an identity crisis as she struggles with feeling sidelined by her best friend and former assistant, Evie Tanaka, who has become a formidable superhero herself. With the city experiencing an unexpected lull in demon activity and her personal life in turmoil, Aveda finds herself questioning her heroic purpose. When she is invited to be Evie's maid-of-honor, she sees a chance to reclaim her sense of self, but her plans are disrupted when a new supernatural evil threatens brides-to-be, pushing Aveda to harness her strengths and protect both her city and her friendship.
