The House of War and Witness

In 1740, an Austrian infantry company arrives at the Prussian border to defend the town of Narutsin, only to find the locals secretive and the previous soldiers mysteriously absent. Tasked with investigating the situation, young lieutenant Klaes uncovers deeper mysteries linked to the dilapidated manor, Pokoj, where they will stay for winter. With the presence of Drozde, a camp follower and gifted medium who communicates with the spirits inhabiting the manor, the eerie history of Pokoj unfolds, revealing that the past and future of the town—and their own fates—are interwoven with its ghostly inhabitants.
