The Fungal Truth of Ivan's Lake

In October 1998, folklorist Marta Vetrova journeys to the secluded village of Ozyornoye to document its forgotten stories, only to discover a place shrouded in silence and guarded secrets. As she uncovers a long-hidden ledger and diary connected to a drowned settlement, she delves into a haunting history of grief and complicity rooted in the village’s mysterious past. Richly written and atmospheric, the story explores the delicate boundaries between truth, memory, and silence.
