Liverpool Angels

Born just after the turn of the 20th century, Mae Strickland’s early life takes a tumultuous turn when her mother dies unexpectedly, leading her to be raised by her aunt Maggie alongside her cousins, Eddie and Alice. As the shadow of World War I grows nearer, Mae and Alice train as field nurses and face unimaginable hardships on the front lines. Amidst the turmoil, they find moments of comfort and hope, with romance offering a beacon of possibility, but only great courage can see them through.
