Epistle to Yemen and the Thirteen Principles of Faith

In 1165, the Jewish community of Yemen faced severe persecution from fanatical Muslim rulers and internal threats, prompting them to seek help from the renowned scholar Maimonides. Responding with his influential Epistle to Yemen, he addressed their crisis with courage and intellect, communicating in Arabic to reach the entire community. His efforts extended beyond words, as he used his influence at Saladin's court to help end their persecution and protect their community.
