The Stationmaster's Daughter

Living in the comfort of the Stationmaster's cottage at Partick, Carrie Burgess enjoys a privileged life, though her romance with railway labourer Ewen Livingstone faces family opposition. After her father's sudden death, she moves out of her home and, despite her feelings for Ewen, marries a man she believes is a better prospect, only to discover darker truths behind his facade.
