Music in the Hills

After returning to Scotland from fighting terrorists in Malaya, James Dering begins a new chapter at Mureth House, aiming to learn farming and settle into rural life. However, he quickly encounters a series of unexpected challenges and colorful characters, including sheep thieves, gossiping villagers, and a captivating brunette, all of which disrupt his peaceful plans. Amidst these upheavals, James also contends with the lingering question of a past love, Rhoda Ware, and what might bring him happiness.
