Seventeen-year-old Emmott Syddall dreams of escaping her small English village and moving to London, determined not to follow her ancestors' dull legacy. When unexplained deaths lead to the village's quarantine, she faces a difficult choice between seeking freedom and protecting those she cares about, including a mysterious figure in a hazmat suit.
