In a post-apocalyptic world, Evelyn War, a devoted Believer, clings to the ancient stories of the Masters' war against menacing chitinous beasts known as Them. As the remnants of civilization fade in the frozen ruins of Berlin, the Aux, fierce doglike sentinels once tasked with guarding against Them, have grown skeptical and divided, dismissing these tales as mere myths. Yet, with the ice melting, ominous sounds echo through the U-Bahn, igniting a renewed tension and fear that challenges the Aux's beliefs and readiness for the looming threat.
