The Bookbinder of Jericho

Set against the backdrop of 1914 wartime Britain, this novel follows twin sisters Peggy and Maude, who work in a bindery at Oxford University Press, as they navigate the challenges brought by war, refugees, and changing dreams. Peggy, ambitious and intelligent, struggles with the limitations placed upon her, while Maude’s extraordinary yet vulnerable nature adds complexity to their bond.
