Sheriff John Beckett and his wife Shelly celebrate their anniversary aboard a luxury cruise liner, only to face a life-threatening crisis when terrorists hijack the ship with nuclear threats. As the ship drifts in the Gulf of Mexico, the terrorists demand the release of prisoners in exchange for the passengers’ safety.
