Rome's Fallen Eagle

Set in AD 41 Rome, the story follows Claudius's uncertain rise to power, with his freedmen devising a daring plan to secure his position. Pallas suggests a mission to recover the long-lost Eagle of the Seventeenth, leading Vespasian and his brother into dangerous territories in Germania and Britannia. As they pursue this perilous quest and uncover hidden truths, they must also navigate threats from barbarians and the emperor's own wrath.
