The Nutmeg of Consolation

Stranded on a remote island in the Dutch East Indies, Captain Aubrey and Stephen Maturin, a surgeon and secret agent, must rely on their resourcefulness to survive after their makeshift schooner is destroyed. As Aubrey takes command of a new ship, the Nutmeg, they carry on with their interrupted mission amid dangerous encounters, including a harrowing penal colony in New South Wales and other perilous challenges.
