Moving On

Set in post-war Leith, this story explores the challenges faced by the Anderson family as they adjust to peacetime Britain, highlighting Johnny's pursuit of a political career and his commitments as a husband and father, alongside his Polish brother-in-law Hans's struggles. Meanwhile, nurse Kitty becomes involved in a sensational murder trial and develops a complex connection with the prosecuting counsel, whose feelings for her will be tested by their subsequent encounter four years later.
