In response to a urgent plea, California businessman Levi Benkert travels to Ethiopia to help rescue children threatened by a tribal practice known as "mingi," where those with perceived defects are killed. Deeply moved by the children he meets, Levi and his family eventually sell everything to stay and work toward ending this deadly tradition and providing safe homes. The story follows his ongoing efforts to establish an orphanage, find adoptive families, and collaborate with tribal leaders in a profound mission for change.
