K.C. Aegis is the pen name of a Southern California writer and Language Arts teacher with a master's degree in Literature and Creative Writing from Cal State Fullerton. His early publications included the short stories "Remember the Sunflowers" and "Progeny of the Storm," while his novel Syn Breaker was a finalist in Del Sol Press's Best First Novel Competition. His debut published novel, Her Gilded Voice, appeared from Elsewhen Press in 2024, followed by the Distortion Day audiobook novella series.
