Franklin Horton is an American author of post-apocalyptic, science-fiction, and thriller fiction. He began writing at thirteen and has published more than thirty novels, including the Borrowed World, Locker Nine, Mad Mick, Ty Stone, Way of Dan, and Defeated Creek series. He lives and writes in the mountains of southwestern Virginia.
