Jonathan Freedland is a British journalist, Guardian columnist, broadcaster, and author. He writes history and biography under his own name, including The Escape Artist and The Traitors Circle, and publishes political and espionage thrillers under the pseudonym Sam Bourne. He also presents BBC Radio 4’s contemporary-history series The Long View.
