Daniel M. Jaffe is an award-winning American writer whose career followed a transition from corporate and securities law to creative writing. He has published novels, short-story collections, personal essays, and translations, often exploring gay-Jewish life, identity, sexuality, activism, and human rights. He has taught creative writing at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education and in UCLA Extension’s Writers’ Program; Russian Silhouette is his tenth published book.
